Community Outreach

Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region remains highly visible through an array of community outreach efforts. We continued community educational offerings to a wide variety of audiences and made a significant number of presentations on end-of-life planning, advance directives, dealing with grief in the workplace, and other topics. In 2008, we conducted over 200 educational presentations and training programs to over 10,000 individuals.

Our Resource and Education Managers are available to visit your workplace, community of faith, or service organization to make a presentation on a variety of end-of-life topics.  This service is provided free of charge by Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region.  For more information or to schedule a presentation, please contact Marilyn Morenz at 704.335.3579 or Paula Byrd at 704.335.6443.
